Everywhere we looked were breathtaking views: trees, rock, water, height = amazing.
Oh, yes, and then there's snow. We didn't really expect to be hiking on snow in July but after all, this was glacier country
so we made our way over the white stuff to Loch Vale, a lovely Alpine lake. Sweet!
We soon discovered that going down is not necessarily easier, but we all made it back to the trailhead, our first hike behind us: about 5 miles and 700 feet elevation gain.
Amazing, beautiful photos. We miss you guys. Keep having fun and hurry home!
