The Livshits Family Adventure of a Lifetime is officially launched!!
We have crossed off all the lists (tent, sleeping bag, hiking shoes, bear pepper spray, copy of revised will); we have packed the last granola bar into the last inch of space in the CRV. Our equipment is strapped down; our passengers are wired in. Ipod, DS, GPS MacBook and a Kindle should keep us entertained for 3 straight days of driving before we head off the grid.
Our goal: to explore as many of the National Parks as possible in one month.
Our itinerary: Kansas City, Rocky Mountain Park, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Wind Cave, Badlands, and then Northern Ontario (now that's wild!)
Our challenge: convince Mom that she is having a good time.

Hi guys! Hope Olean is a good stop. We shopped in Albany (a disappointing Forever 21) and had a surprisingly nice stop in Erie, PA. White knuckled it through Detroit and arrived to cold margaritas yesterday afternoon. I love my friends!! Safe travels and keep us posted! Xo lisa
